ASA Statement on Equality and Justice for Every American

WASHINGTON – The American Securities Association (ASA) today released the following statement calling for the country to come together, to seek equality and justice for every American, and reject all forms of violence:

“Along with our mission to promote investor trust and confidence in U.S. financial markets, our members also believe deeply in equality and justice for every American in our society and in the financial services industry. Treating everyone in our firms and in our communities with dignity, honesty, and respect are core values all of our member firms share. Our society and our economy depend on every American, regardless of their gender, race, religion, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation or disability, believing they have an equal opportunity to share in America’s prosperity. We will continue working to achieve this in our communities across the country.”
